Beanstalk Blondie Review

Beanstalk Bakery Blondie

I have been so excited and anxious for this review! Ever since we saw this doll on taobao (and I couldn’t get one through that website), I’ve been dying for this doll! Then someone found her in Canada and then she was available on target.com and I gobbled her up!!

Beanstalk Bakery Blondie
Blondie wears dark red lipstick with the three shine dots on the bottom. Her blue eyes feature red/pink eyeshadow on top and bottom. Her bangs feature mint and pink hair streaks. She has two longer curled blonde strands that frame her face.

Blondie’s blue headband features mint, yellow, and a pink flower and a pink cupcake. She hair four sprigs of hair that also feature mint highlights coming from a high ponytail that is adorned with a white circular accessory.

Blondie has two identical pink cupcake earrings.

Blondie comes with a dark blue shrug (unlike the promotional photos that show this shrug as being light blue). She wears a pink necklace and a white belt with two flowers. The top of her dress feature three bows down the middle and a yellow background with cupcakes on top.

Blondie’s shrug is actually an interesting piece that is held together with a short elastic band.

The bottom of Blondie’s dress features ruffles and bows. The underskirt looks like a cupcake wrapper and below that is a white layer with the tulle ruffles.

Blondie’s dress is one piece and it is just adorable! I love all of the bows and how it all comes together!

On her right (our left) arm, Blondie has a yellow accessory that ends in a bow and cupcake charm.

Blondie wears a blue cupcake ring on her left (our right) hand.

She comes packaged with her cupcake purse on her left arm. The purse looks like it would open, but I haven’t been able to pry the purse open. It tends to fall over in its handle so that the icing top is facing down. It’s a nice detail, and I like that it is actually painted, but the purse isn’t my favorite accessory.

She wears pink heels with white ruffles and white bow. The heels have two cupcakes; the details of the wrapper are actually painted.

Dear Mattel, thank you SO much for not skipping out on the details of this doll!!!!

I adore this doll! So much so that I purchased two of her. I absolutely LOVE Blondie Lockes and this version is such a nice version! I simply adore her and cannot recommend her enough! If you see her, grab her up!!

The premise behind this doll is that Blondie is reviewing the Beanstalk Bakery for her Mirrorcast Show. The Beanstalk Bakery is a separate playset that I will probably have to purchase now, just to make this Blondie a complete set and make her Just Right!

  1. Great review! I can’t get over the amount of detail they put into her outfit! I love that her skirt looks like a cupcake wrapper. Her shoes are great. I love seeing these dolls up close before buying them so I appreciate the review! I am fairly new to doll collecting and am so in love with the EAH line. I have so many to catch up on! I really am excited for the other dolls I’ve seen on a Amazon that look like they will be released in stores this year. Your blog is really fun and I’ve enjoyed reading through it. :)
