I’ve always wanted a short Blondie doll. I was so disappointed when she came out that she wasn’t short, too. When Lizzie came out, I was so excited! Here is my chance!
My Lizzie is now “normal” sized and I have a Shortie Lockes!
After shouting OFF WITH THEIR HEADS! and making the swap, I had a great afternoon trying clothes on my new Lizzie Hearts! Click the thumbnails below to check out the photos!:
I made that black/white dress. I found the fabric in the remnant bin yesterday at JoAnn’s Fabrics. It was fate! The stockings are from thedaughterwhosews on etsy. I made the little black dress that she is wearing in the other photo (available here). The red skirt is from hauntcouture on etsy. My friend crocheted the little red bikini for me.
I had full intentions of photographing each little piece of this playset for you to see. That didn’t happen. I started out with this goal in mind, but ended up having way too much fun just playing with the pieces and the Briar doll. I can totally see where little girls are going to LOVE this! I can only imagine what it would have been like to have this when I was a little girl. All of the accessories and the doll pack up into a book that you can take with you everywhere. Going to Grandma’s? Grab the book! Long car ride? Grab the book! Just need a day in your room? Grab the book!
Here are some photos that did survive, and I hope you can see how much fun I had! Continue reading
I’ve been playing with Sirena. I was a little frustrated that her nose wouldn’t photograph well, so I added a little bit of blushing to her. I went overboard and it stained her plastic! Oops!
I also re-curled her hair yesterday. This is my first successful attempt at straw-curling hair, and I’m very happy with the result!
What do you think? Does the blushing completely ruin her? Or do you like this look better?
I wanted to wish you all a Happy Easter (if you celebrate) and a Happy Spring!
I had so much fun this afternoon making these little bunny ears that I couldn’t stop there! I made bear ears, wolf ears, kitty ears, and froggie ears! Check out more Continue reading
The Hat-tastic dolls (and their hair) needed some love. While they were drying, some of the other dolls jumped off of the shelf to try on the new outfits!
I’ve had a few requests for photos through social media, so I will be posting them here as well.
