Hasbro and the Disney Princess Line

I promise, I haven’t dropped off the face of the Earth. Things have been really crazy busy lately, but I’m on winter break now, so hopefully I can knock out some photos and reviews this week! I miss posting on here so much!!

Hasbro Disney Dolls
As I’m sure you know, Hasbro got the contract for the Disney Princess dolls. There is a great article about it all here.

I saw four of these new Hasbro dolls at my TRU today. They had Pocahontas, Jasmine, Merida, and Mulan. There were two sets of these four dolls. I am not impressed. I thought I was going to pick up a Jasmine, but seeing her in person didn’t make her jump into my arms. I kinda like Pocahontas’s outfit, but her face was just misprinted or something. These were $9.99 each.

  1. Sigh…. I think disney princess dolls may have jumped out of the frying pan and into the fire. I personally didn’t like most of the mattel dp dolls, but I’m not sure this is an improvement. they don’t look well-proportioned to me, and some of the faces seem oddly shaped. I may get Rapunzel, because she looked cute in the leaked photo and she is my favorite disney character, but I will probably switch out the body for one with more articulation.

    1. I’m sorry. I was not. They weren’t able to sell them. The computer pops up with a “Cannot sell until Jan 1″ message, and I didn’t think to photograph to bar code.

  2. Got Rapunzel at Target today. They had Belle, Merida, Mulan, Ariel, Rapunzel, Anna, Elsa, and Frozen Fever Elsa. They also had some bubble Rapunzel and Ariels, as well as the new Princess Little Kingdom sets.
