Monster High Exchange Program ~ Marisol Coxi

Greetings everyone! It’s that time of year where all of the new dolls are coming in massive waves! I hope to have reviews to you in a timely manner, but with the holidays approaching that may be difficult.

My Marisol Coxi doll was purchased from Toot’s Toys. They’ve been getting all of the new dolls in fairly quickly and maintain an excellent level of service. I asked for Collector Quality and I got just that. My doll has no paint flaws and came Mint in Box.

Here from the 2015 Spring Lines is Marisol Coxi from the Monster Exchange program.

Marisol (Or as I’ve grown to call her, Mari) is the daughter of the South American Bigfoot. Oh Boy! Is this girl big, too!

Marisol Coxi
Mari has a light purple/mauve skin tone. She has large purple hairy eyebrows. She wears light green eyeshadow in the inner corners of her eyes and a pinky/purple eyeshadow around the outer edges. Her lips are a darker pink.

Marisol Coxi
Mari wears a small green hat with a green headband. This hat/headband combo is held on with plastic, tabs, and a rubber band.

Marisol Coxi
Mari wears no earrings. Her ears have a slight indent where her she could have a piercing, but it isn’t a hole large enough to actually put one in.

Marisol Coxi
Mari has long pink/purple hair with two lime green twist braids. These braids are held in place with a rubber band and this little orange tassel piece.

Marisol Coxi
Mari’s hair with its multiple colors of pink/purple goes down her back, but it also has shorter layers on the top.

Marisol Coxi
Mari wears a short-sleeve shrug. This orange shrug features green footprints and blue zizag stripes.

Marisol Coxi
Mari wears a strapless dress. The top is pink and is sewn to the print skirt. The bright lime matches her hair nicely.

Marisol Coxi
Here is the back where you can see the print on her shrug and also how the dress closes. I’ll be honest; I’m not a fan of that orange shrug. The girl just has too many colors going on!!

Marisol Coxi
Mari has large hands with hair that goes up to her elbows.

Mari’s hands are slightly larger than her friend Casta.

Marisol Coxi
Mari’s feet are also MUCH larger than any of her friends.

Marisol Coxi
Her large bright pink shoes feature lime green tassels and cutouts. I LOVE these shoes! They are so perfect for her! I love the print and the lime green how it matches her hair! I love how her toes hang out a little bit.

Marisol Coxi
The bottoms of her shoes have these footprints similar to the famous footprints that Big Foot researchers/hunters claim to find.

Marisol Coxi
Speaking of those footprints, her purse/bag has a set on both sides.

Marisol Coxi
Mari’s shoes are so large that they won’t fit on another doll. These are Casta’s feet. Casta is on the larger body style and those shoes totally eclipse her feet! Look at all of that space!

And poor Mari can’t get her foot inside of Casta’s cute purple boots!!

Marisol Coxi
And that’s Marisol Coxi! My doll will not be wearing that orange shrug. I think it just clashes too much.

So what are my thoughts on Mari? I love the taller dolls. I love that she has large feet (size 11 over here!) and the hair ankles/arms. I’m not a huge fan of the mauve color of her skin. I’ve never been a fan of that color. I think I might like it more if her hair wasn’t also a pink. I LOVE that pop of lime green, but I wish the predominant color was something else. Hot pink maybe? Or just black?

I really like this doll! I’m super glad I got her from Toot’s Toys! You can jump over there (shop.tootstoys.com) and grab one of your own! I may have to grab another to rehair…. hmmm……

  1. Marisol is gorgeous *__*
I’m not a fan of pink colors but it fits her perfectly. Her skin tone looks almost grey so it’s ok.
I’m looking forward to getting her doll!!!!
Thank you for the review <3
