This doll has gone by many names. I <3 Accessories Skelita? Monster Scaritage Skelita? Or as I like to call her La Lucha Libre Skelita! Toot's Toys helped me grab her and add her to my collection. If you are looking for her, I suggest heading over the their website and grabbing her!
Skelita comes with several accessories, a cute two-piece outfit, shoes, stand, and brush.
Skelita’s headband has three flowers on it. Two of them are a pink color and the middle one is a light blue. They have little skullettes inside of them and drippy coming from the bottom. The actual headband looks spinal.
I like this headband, but it really bothers me that this pink doesn’t match anything else in her outfit. (Okay, maybe one tiny stripe in her skirt) Her hair, shoes, purse, and top all use a different pink. If you are going to use a different color, don’t use another pink.
Skelita’s face has the light blue around her eyes with little sparkles that we’ve come to love. Her lips are a dark red with the sugar skull markings around her lips and cheeks. Her pink strands are pulled back near where her ear would be.
Her teal/blue strands are also pulled back in a similar way. The Skelita dolls are prone to wonky eyes. All of the dolls from this line that I’ve seen have some problems, but they all seem to do the same thing. The eyes tend to look off to the top right (her top left). I think this is ADORABLE! I’d prefer this to her eyes looking straight on.
The doll comes with a tiny plastic shell underneath her outfit to keep her clothes looking full (and possibly to protect the body a little bit when packaging). Underneath all of that is this beautiful molded skelton that we have come to love. Yes, I know rib-boobs aren’t anatomically correct, but it’s cute, so who cares?
And that’s Scaritage Skelita! I think she is adorable! I’ll probably be sewing clothes for her in no time. Either that or she’ll be wearing the accidents from when I accidentally make something too tight to go over those MH hips…..
